Interpath Advisory is pleased to announce the appointment of a managing director and associate director to its fast-growing deal advisory practice in Dublin.
Andy Tallon joins as a managing director in the firm’s Debt Advisory team, with a particular focus on real estate transactions.
Andy brings broad European experience having worked in London for seven years and previously established CBRE’s Capital Advisory business in Ireland. He is experienced in raising and structuring debt for some of the largest global investors in Real Estate. As well as debt raising, Andy has also completed several loan sale transactions for institutional clients where the security pool has had a strong real estate focus.
Also joining Interpath is Simon Clarke, who has been appointed as associate director in the firm’s Valuations team.
Simon has a wide range of corporate finance experience spanning valuations, M&A advisory and due diligence engagements, and has worked internationally having spent five years in Australia after training with a Big 4 accounting firm in Dublin. He has extensive valuations experience, advising clients across a broad range of sectors for various valuation purposes including mergers & acquisitions, litigation, restructuring, financial reporting and tax.
Liam Booth, managing director at Interpath Advisory, said: “We’re delighted to welcome both Andy and Simon to Interpath.
“Hiring someone of Andy’s calibre and sector expertise is a huge coup for us as we continue to scale and grow our deal advisory capabilities, and in particular, as we seek to build out a market-leading debt advisory team.
“Additionally, with over ten years’ experience, Simon’s arrival bolsters our global valuation practice and geographical reach, while complementing our existing deals and advisory service offerings in Ireland.”
Liam Booth added: “As we continue to invest in and scale our deal advisory capabilities, the driver of our success will be the collaborative approach that we take across our business, ensuring that we bring in the right specialists, at the right time, enabling us to support our clients throughout all parts of the deals cycle.”
Andy Tallon, managing director at Interpath Advisory, said: “I’m delighted to be joining Interpath at what is a really interesting time to be working in the debt markets. With positive sentiment around inflation gathering momentum, and the expectation that borrowing costs may start to come down sooner than many were anticipating, investors across Ireland will continue to consider their financing options.”
Simon Clarke, associate director at Interpath Advisory, commented: “Ongoing economic uncertainty is prompting more and more organisations to seek a clear and robust understanding of the value of their businesses and assets. I’m excited to be joining Interpath and look forward to working alongside my new colleagues to bring insights and added value to our clients.”
Since lauching in Ireland and Northern Ireland in late 2022, Interpath Advisory has scaled quickly, and now has circa 75 staff with capabilities of providing services including Restructuring, Deal Advisory (including Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Debt Advisory, Valuations and Value Creation services), Forensic and Investigation, Data and Technology Services and CFO Advisory services.
