International advisory firm Interpath has further expanded its Valuation team with the appointment of Susan Blower as Managing Director.
Susan is a valuations and quantum expert with over 20 years’ experience advising on complex business, share and intellectual property valuations across litigation, arbitration, restructuring and corporate contexts. Over the course of her career she has undertaken an estimated 500 valuations and has regularly acted as an expert witness in both litigation and international arbitration, including appointments in the UK High Court, UK Tax Tribunal, LCIA, ICC, ICSID and CASS.
Her background also spans valuations for financial reporting (including Purchase Price Allocations), tax-related valuations, incentive and share schemes, and portfolio valuations for fund managers. Susan is listed in Who’s Who Legal as a leading Quantum Expert in Financial Advisory and Valuations and is an accredited member of both the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI) and the Academy of Experts. Susan’s career spans senior roles at BDO and KPMG. She returned to BDO as part of its valuations practice, becoming a partner in 2019, before moving to Ankura in 2024.
Commenting on her appointment, Susan Blower, Managing Director, Valuations at Interpath, said: “Valuations remain a fundamentally countercyclical service, supporting decision-making and dispute resolution across a wide range of market conditions. What drew me to Interpath was the strength and interconnectedness of its multidisciplinary platform — spanning deal advisory, restructuring and beyond. This creates an environment where clients can rely on integrated valuation advice throughout the cycle. I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of the practice and working with colleagues across the firm to help clients navigate increasingly complex valuation and quantum challenges.”
David Mitchell, Managing Director, Valuations at Interpath, added: “We are delighted to welcome Susan to the team. She brings an exceptional depth of technical expertise and a track record that is widely recognised across the market, particularly in contentious valuations and quantum analysis. Her experience acting as an expert witness across multiple jurisdictions will be invaluable as we continue to support clients facing complex disputes and high‑stakes decision-making. Susan’s arrival further strengthens our ambitions to build a leading valuations practice in the UK and across our international network.”
