Claranet, one of Europe’s leading managed service providers, has acquired Six Degrees, creating a strong platform for the next phase of growth for the integrated cloud services provider.
Six Degrees is a London-based technology business providing a range of IT services, including cloud-based data centre solutions, managed services and cybersecurity. The business supports customers across a broad range of sectors, including financial services, healthcare, legal, government and professional services.
The acquisition brings Six Degrees into Claranet’s established international technology services platform, providing the business with long-term stability and the backing to continue supporting customers with its specialist expertise and high-quality service offering. Following the acquisition, Six Degrees’ customers will be able to take advantage of Claranet’s European operations and benefit from the knowledge and enlarged portfolio of services in cloud, network, cyber security, workplace, data and AI. The transaction also provides immediate continuity for Six Degrees’ circa 200 employees.
The transaction completed following the appointment of administrators to one of Six Degrees’ group entities (Isosceles DM 123 LIMITED) on 29 June 2026, with Rick Harrison and Will Wright of Interpath appointed as joint administrators. Following their appointment, the administrators completed a solvent sale of the shares in Six Degrees’ main trading entities to Claranet Limited.
Charles Nasser, CEO and Founder of the Claranet Group, stated: “From a market and customer perspective, this is a great opportunity to bring together the experience and resources of two great companies to deliver a broader service portfolio to benefit our customers. It’s our mission to help our customers make the most of internet-enabled technology, and the acquisition of Six Degrees will
enable us to continue to deliver on this promise. This announcement confirms our commitment to continue investing in our services and long-term relationships with our customers and staff.”
Vince DeLuca, CEO of Six Degrees, added: “Claranet’s long term strategy and shareholding structure led by its founder, Charles Nasser, opens a new chapter for our customers and colleagues. Both companies are very compatible, and I am confident that the expanded group will go on to even greater things, creating significant opportunities for customers, partners and staff.”
Rick Harrison, managing director at Interpath, said: “Six Degrees has built a strong reputation in secure cloud technology and digital transformation, and we are pleased to have completed a transaction that provides the business with a stable long-term home within Claranet. This outcome ensures continuity for customers and employees and positions Six Degrees well for the future.”
