International financial advisory firm Interpath has named Robert Capper as Head of Asset Tracing and Complex Investigations as part of its accelerated expansion of its global Advisory capabilities.
Robert has been appointed as a Managing Director and will establish the Asset Tracing and Complex Investigations team, which will support clients with specialist, business-critical engagements. In particular, it will work closely with Interpath’s Contentious Insolvency and Forensics teams in international and offshore markets to aid the identification and recovery of assets, and assist with a range of challenging international commercial investigations.
Prior to joining Interpath, Robert established and lead the asset tracing and commercial investigations team at management consulting firm Ankura, and formally worked at litigation funder Burford Capital. Robert began his career with eight years working for the British Intelligence Services.
Russell Worrall, Head of Advisory at Interpath, said: “Robert is a truly world-class leader in asset tracing and complex investigations work. He’ll bring an incredible amount of experience and expertise that will complement our proposition across our international network, and help create one of the few truly unified asset tracing and recovery propositions in the market.”
Commenting on his appointment, Robert Capper said: “It’s a privilege to join Interpath and to have the opportunity to build this team, which will support the exceptional expansion story of the firm. This department intersects with many of the existing service lines at Interpath and so I’m also looking forward to standing alongside many of the exceptional practitioners that I’ve already worked closely with in my career.”
