Interpath has further strengthened its Deals Advisory leadership team with the appointment of Managing Director Stuart Mogg.
Stuart joins from EY where he was a Partner and led the Financial Services Debt Advisory team as part of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice. He began his career with the NatWest Group where he worked across a number of senior roles including leading the Financial Services Structured Finance business.
Interpath’s UK Financial Services Transactions team is headed by Nick Parkhouse who joined the firm in March this year. The team provides independent advice to financial services businesses across their investment lifecycle.
Stuart will work alongside Jenna Picken, a Managing Director and securitisation lead who was appointed in February 2024, and Ed Boyle, Interpath’s restructuring lead for the Financial Services sector. He’ll also be part of the wider debt advisory practice in the UK led by John Miesner.
Russ Worrall, Managing Director and Head of Advisory at Interpath in the UK, said: “Financial Services represents a significant growth opportunity for Interpath and we are focused on building out our full range of deal advisory services. Current market conditions provide both challenge and opportunity and our expert knowledge and connections will support our clients to be the winners in the market. A strong debt advisory team alongside our heritage in restructuring sits at the core of our offering and having high quality individuals like Stuart supplements our senior leadership team in both debt and capital advisory and Financial Services.”
Commenting on his appointment, Stuart Mogg said: “It is fantastic to join such a high calibre team, with the backing to support both mid-market and large financial institutions with an integrated debt and capital advisory offering. There’s real ambition here to support the growth of the industry and I look forward to enabling our clients to navigate their debt and capital strategy requirement.”
The appointment is further evidence of Interpath’s continued commitment to grow and invest in its Advisory practice and follows the firm’s recent announcement that it has hired Simon Mower to lead its Real Estate Debt Advisory business in the UK, alongside Charlie Allanson, Isaac Jermy and Shelby Arthur, all from KPMG.
