Interpath is pleased to announce the appointment of Vania Mermoud as Managing Director within its Transaction Services team in France, which now includes five Managing Directors, three Directors, and nearly 80 professionals.
Vania brings approaching 25 years’ experience across the full spectrum of Transaction Services. Prior to joining Interpath, he spent 19 years at Deloitte, advising primarily private equity funds from deal origination through to execution, and, prior to that, five years at EY. Over the course of his career, Vania has led close to 300 transactions in France and internationally on deals ranging from €30 million to €5 billion in value.
Specialist in both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, Vania also has in-depth expertise in complex carve-outs, and acquisition agreement (SPA) matters. Vania’s track record spans transactions across a broad range of sectors, with notable experience in business services, technology, and healthcare.
His arrival reflects Interpath’s strong growth momentum, particularly in France, a strategic market at the heart of the firm’s European expansion. It enhances the firm’s ability to support transactions of all sizes in an increasingly competitive environment.
Benjamin Tarac, Country Leader of Interpath France, commented: "Vania’s appointment reflects our ambition to strengthen our Transaction Services team with exceptional talent. With his recognised expertise, strategic vision, and deep understanding of market dynamics, he will play a key role in accelerating our growth in France, particularly in the mid-cap segment."
Vania Mermoud added: "I am delighted to join Interpath France and be part of the firm’s shared mission - driven by a strong team spirit, values, and a clear ambition - to establish Interpath as a leading player in advisory. Drawn by the agility of the model, the quality of the teams, and the momentum of the project, I am fully committed to supporting our clients with precision, collaboration, and impact, while actively contributing to Interpath’s growth and visibility in the market."
