International advisory firm Interpath has strengthened its Value Creation practice with the appointment of Nicholas Edwards as Managing Director.
Nick has over 15 years’ experience of driving cash optimisation. Having started his career at KPMG, he has spent the last 11 years at EY Parthenon, where he supported private equity clients across the investment cycle; identifying cash-related risks and opportunities during transactions and post-deal environment. His expertise includes working capital improvement, cashflow forecasting and ensuring portfolio companies deploy cash as efficiently as possible.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick Edwards, Managing Director in Value Creation at Interpath, said:
“A major factor in joining Interpath has to be its people – specifically the chance to team up again with Mark Raddan and Nathan McCarthy. Knowing the calibre of teams that they lead and clients they work with made the decision to join an easy one.
“As companies respond to an uncertain global landscape, it is crucial that they build resilience into their balance sheets. By unlocking trapped liquidity and optimising cash cycles, management teams can achieve the agility they need to navigate volatility and drive sustainable value creation to support growth. I look forward to leveraging Interpath’s multidisciplinary platform to provide practical and first-hand support to our clients.”
Nathan McCarthy, Global Head of Value Creation, added: “We’re incredibly pleased to welcome Nick to Interpath as our Value Creation team continues to scale and attract the best talent in the market. His deep expertise in liquidity and working capital, hands-on approach and experience supporting private equity clients through the deal cycle, will be invaluable as we continue to help businesses unlock value and deliver sustainable growth here in the UK and throughout our international network.”
