Financial advisory firm Interpath has joined the British Irish Chamber of Commerce (BICC) after a welcome ceremony at the Mansion House in Dublin last night (29 February 2024), hosted by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daithí de Róiste.
The BICC was founded in 2011 and champions trade and cooperation between the UK and Ireland for businesses, governments and communities. The BICC arranges trade missions and develops policy positions and advocates on behalf of its members.
As part of the membership, Interpath will nominate five representatives from the firm to become Council Seat Holders and attend the organisation’s Council Meetings, as well as its Sectoral Committees, including financial services. Interpath’s Marg Degnan and Eddie Cullen, a board member and current chair of the BICC Professional and Financial Services Committee, attended the Members event at the Mansion House.
Interpath has an international network of 15 offices spanning the UK, Ireland and Caribbean employing more than 700 staff. In February 2024, Interpath moved into its new 10,000 sq ft headquarters at Riverside 2, Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin, to support the continued growth of its operations, which includes offices in Cork and Belfast. The firm now has more than 80 professionals in Ireland.
Mark Degnan, Managing Director at Interpath in Ireland, said: “We have extensive teams of financial advisory and restructuring professionals right across Ireland and the UK with an established office network on both sides of the water. Our multi-disciplinary approach not only sees us working closely together across practice areas, but also throughout our firm internationally. That cross-border capability reflects the close ties between the two countries and emphasises the importance of championing economic engagement and collaboration. We look forward to supporting the British Irish Chamber of Commerce and representing the needs of our clients within the organisation’s Council and Sectoral Committees.”
