Ryan Grant, Chris Pole and Sam Birchall of Interpath were appointed as Joint Administrators to the UK operating entities of the moveero business on 26 March 2026.
The entities that have entered administration are Sankey Holding Limited, moveero Limited and Autostructures UK Limited. Employing circa 250 staff in total, these companies trade from a manufacturing facility in Telford.
For the avoidance of doubt, the wider moveero group continues to operate profitably, and the UK insolvencies do not affect or impact the rest of the Group’s operations and businesses in the US and Denmark.
The UK business has faced significant operational challenges in recent years due to a weakened off‑highway market, significant downward pricing pressure and strong competition from rival firms.
As a result of these ongoing challenges, the directors of the businesses have taken steps to protect the interests of creditors by appointing Administrators. This will allow the UK businesses to continue trading while buyers for the businesses and their assets are pursued, with all staff retained during this period.
The Joint Administrators have agreed ongoing support and funding from the companies’ key customers, which will enable the Administrators to work with existing management and employees to complete current production and delivery schedules. This ongoing trading platform will allow the Joint Administrators to explore options available for the UK business.
David Geraghty, CEO of moveero, said: “Against a difficult economic backdrop, we have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to improve the financial performance of the UK business. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our brilliant team, and also the support of our customers who have provided us with funding in recent days which has given us the additional time we need to continue to explore the options available.”
Ryan Grant, managing director at Interpath and Joint Administrator, said: “We have been pleased with the positive conversations and financial support provided by customers in recent days, which has ultimately provided the businesses with a crucial lifeline, enabling us to trade while we explore options for the business. We’d like to extend our thanks to the companies’ employees for their support and understanding while this process continues.”
Chris Pole, managing director at Interpath and Joint Administrator, added: “With a proud history dating back to 1908, moveero has long been at the forefront of the global off-highway wheel manufacturing market. Our immediate priority is to seek buyers for the UK businesses and assets and would urge any interested parties to contact us as soon as possible.”
