Geoff Jacobs and Alistair McAlinden from Interpath were appointed as Joint Provisional Liquidators of 4iCG Ltd, Pursuit Marketing Limited and Your Shortlist Limited on 10 December 2024.
Headquartered in Glasgow, the Companies provided lead and demand generation services for business-to-business sales of IT and associated solutions.
Over recent months, the Companies had been seeking additional funding to support the ongoing development of their IT infrastructure. While extensive discussions with prospective investors had taken place, unfortunately an agreement was unable to be reached. With creditor pressure mounting and no solvent solutions available, the directors concluded that they had no option but to place the Companies into provisional liquidation.
Following their appointment, the Companies ceased to trade. Consequently, the Joint Provisional Liquidators convened a meeting with the employees at which, and with regret, a total of 61 members of staff were made redundant. A further 9 members of staff have been retained in the short term to assist the provisional liquidators with an orderly wind down of the Companies and the sale of its business and assets.
Geoff Jacobs, managing director at Interpath and joint provisional liquidator, said: “The Companies have an extensive database utilised by providers and buyers of IT solutions as an online marketplace, as well as white labels marketing campaigns for large global customers. Parties interested in acquiring the business should contact us at the earliest opportunity.”
Alistair McAlinden, managing director at Interpath and joint provisional liquidator, added: “We understand news of the Companies’ closure will be distressing to their dedicated employees. Our priority will be to support all those impacted by redundancy, including supporting them with applications to the Redundancy Payments Service.”
