Interpath has announced the appointment of former Deutsche Pfandbriefbank Managing Director Michael Kenney as a Senior Advisor to support the growth of its global Real Estate team.
Michael has over 35 years’ experience in real estate banking, transacting for large sponsors and developers across Europe. Most recently, Michael was Head of UK Origination at Pbb where he led the London-based team that was focussed on providing large ticket commercial property loans to corporate, private equity and institutional investors.
Michael will support a growing Real Estate team at Interpath that comprises professionals across Deal Advisory, Value Creation and Restructuring disciplines and will bring his significant experience to bear as the team scales strategically across Europe and beyond.
Simon Mower, Managing Director, Interpath Real Estate said: “Michael joins us at an incredibly exciting point in our story as Interpath. We’ve built a high-quality scalable platform across professional services and are growing our brand in the Real Estate market. We’re committed to further deepening our teams with exceptional talent and continuing our international expansion. This is about bringing the best of the Real Estate advisory market to our clients, wherever they are based. Michael’s experience, knowledge and strategic support is going to be hugely beneficial over the coming years as we fulfil our ambitions.”
Michael Kenney said: “The Real Estate team at Interpath has firmly established itself across Restructuring, Debt & Capital Advisory and Transaction Advisory. I’m delighted to join up with such a thriving practice to share my experiences in real estate and support its growth. At a time of arguably greater geopolitical turmoil than many of us have ever known, I look forward to making a positive, intelligent contribution to support my new colleagues.”
The appointments follow the announcement earlier this year that Bridgepoint, one of the world’s leading mid-market investors, had entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority equity stake in Interpath.
