On International Women’s Day 2023, the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) is proud to announce the launch of a new IWIRC chapter for BVI.
Co-chairing the chapter will be Charlotte Caulfield, managing director at Interpath Advisory, and Antonia Anderson, associate director at Grant Thornton. Together they will work alongside fellow founding directors Lisa Walmisley, partner at Bedell Cristin, and Sarah-Jane Knock, partner at Withers.
The development of an IWIRC chapter in BVI further emphasises the growing importance of IWIRC as a professional organisation in the restructuring and insolvency sector. Interpath Advisory is proud to show its continued commitment to supporting greater diversity and female leadership across the industry by being a founding sponsor of the BVI chapter.
Charlotte Caulfield, managing director at Interpath Advisory and co-chair of the IWIRC chapter in BVI, said: “This International Women's Day we are excited to launch the BVI chapter of IWIRC. It's apt that we hold our launch event on 8 March given IWIRC's mission to connect women across our industry.
“BVI is a leading international finance centre, a trading hub where the world does business, supported by preeminent advisory and legal service professionals.
“The launch of IWIRC in BVI will empower our members to elevate not only their firms, but their own personal brands connecting them with our IWIRC peers in other jurisdictions including Cayman, Hong Kong and New York. By building closer ties, we anticipate doing more business, sharing ideas and best practices.”
Kristina Kicks, managing director at Interpath in the UK and co-chair of IWIRC’s London chapter, added: “As co-chair of IWIRC’s London network, I am excited to see the continued growth of IWIRC and the launch of the IWIRC BVI chapter. IWIRC is a fantastic networking organisation, inspiring, informing and connecting our members globally. I look forward to supporting Charlotte and her fellow directors as the new network launches, and sharing the experiences I have had as the respective, current co-chair of IWIRC’s London network.”
Kristina added: “Here at Interpath Advisory, we continue to demonstrate our wholehearted commitment to supporting diversity in what has traditionally been a male-dominated industry by becoming a founding sponsor for the BVI network. I look forward to getting to know the members of the BVI chapter and developing strong ties with them.”
